Bradden Hurn
Growing up with an incredible christian mum, I had heard the name of Jesus as a kid, but being witness to certain things, I quickly despised the idea that there could be a God. After years of rebelling and seeking highs in the world, it soon led me to understanding that path would only led me to feeling more and more empty.
After adopting various addictions including illegal substances, and developing toxic unhealthy relations, I was ready to end it. In 2019, after hearing an audible voice say my name "Bradden" I spun around to see Jesus in a cloud in my ceiling for duration of 10seconds. From that moment. I couldn't deny he was real.
Time went on and God put me in situations giving up and surrendering things into his Hands. Leaving friends to spend time in isolation/with God and removing myself from old habits (partying/drinking), I felt God tell me to quit my Job and surrender to Him.
Letting go of the identities I had held in the world (e.g. my physique, idea of money etc), slowly but surely my my old life died and I placed my trust in HIM. In doing so, God installed a joy, a peace, and a freedom in my spirit that can not be explained. He also broke off every addiction I was a slave to (Thank you Jesus).
As I challenge myself to seek Him with all I have, He has given me a new heart, a new understanding, a new view on life, a purpose (Imperium), and new friendships that draw me closer to God. He has ALWAYS provided and has always been faithful, He has protected me and guided me through storms I could not have coped with in my own strength. I have seen healings, miracles, and wonders I cannot explain. The old me has past away, and I am born again in the new.
